Rules for the collection and use of personal information for WiFi networking products and services
WiFi networking is used to configure WiFi name and password for the machines with WiFi communication interface of Xprinter Cloud Printer. Other brands of cloud printers you can try to use this APP for networking operation, but we do not guarantee the successful networking. Nor do we provide technical support for other brands of machines (Except for branded models OEM or ODM by Xprinter;
(i) When you authorize us to collect and use your personal information
- 1、App use permission description(1).Storage permission: for network data cache or local file storage reading(2).Location permission: used to get WIFI name(3).Allow access to or change the status information of WiFi and related networks: for APP to connect to printer hotspots for networking operations
- 2、To provide products and/or services to you and to ensure that we comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other governing documents. You have the right to choose whether to provide this information yourself, but in most cases, if you do not, we may not be able to provide you with the appropriate services or respond to your questions.
- 3、When configuring your cloud printer with WiFi network, we need your permission to obtain location information. We need the location permission to obtain Wi-Fi list and Bluetooth usage permission to get the SSID name of your phone's current connected WiFi. Also, we need you to correctly enter the password for the WiFi so that we can write the SSID and password needed to network the printer to the printer.
- 4、When the SSID and password are written to the printer, the printer will be networked automatically. In order to make sure the network is successful and give you a more friendly interactive experience, we will try to search your printer, if we can find it, we will get the MAC address and IP address of the printer, and prompt you "network success". If it is not found, your password is not entered correctly.
- 5、Lower versions of Android operating systems need to obtain an Android ID to ensure that the application works properly.
（ii）How we entrust the processing, sharing, transfer and public disclosure of your personal information:
（1）Entrusted processing
There is no delegated support from external vendors in this business function, and there is no delegated processing.

How we handle children's personal information
Our products, website and services are primarily intended for adults. Without the consent of a parent or guardian. In the case of personal information collected from children with parental consent, we will use or publicly disclose this information only as permitted by law, with the express consent of the parent or guardian, or as necessary to protect the child. Although local laws and customs define children differently, we treat anyone under the age of 14 as a child.
